In late 2025, my grandma gave me an old Pentax point and shoot 35mm film camera. Thought it was broken, I suddenly started getting film cameras from my mother in law, family friends, and my dad gave me my mom’s cameras from the 90s-00s. The following are an exploration of film cameras and stocks, ranging from point and shoots to a Canon AE-1. It has been wonderful to just s l o w d o w n and be intentional about my own personal photography.
